ABOUT US

Compassionate Healthcare Since 1971

Welcome to Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra (An EEDF Medicare Centre) — a not-for-profit hospital committed to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare with compassion and integrity.

Founded in January 1971 by Late Dr. S.C. Dutt, EEDF began as a health centre led by a dedicated team of young doctors and nurses. What started in three rented houses in Jodhpur Park soon expanded into a mobile van service for slum communities, offering free medical and immunization support.

With a vision to offer state-of-the-art medical care under one roof, the foundation stone for the current hospital building was laid on 15th August 1991, symbolically aligned with Sri Aurobindo’s birthday and India’s Independence Day. The full-fledged hospital began operations in 1992.

Today, Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra Offers:

  • 155+ beds, including ICU and HDU units

  • 150+ expert consultants across 26+ disciplines

  • Advanced diagnostics: CT Scan, MRI, Dialysis

  • NABL-accredited pathology

  • ISO 9001:2015 certification

  • Integrated patient care: OPD, diagnostics, inpatient, all in one facility
